Brokenshire College Nursing Department is one of the accredited Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Providers in the country from April 13, 2009 to February 25, 2010.

    The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) launched last January 21, 2010 the new Continuing Professional Education / Development Handbook which contains information gathered from the Resolutions and Standardized Guidelines on CPE/D to assist professional organizations, institutions or individuals in their application for accreditation as CPE Providers and their CPE programs/courses.

    The procedure for accreditation as CPE Provider is stipulated at the Handbook for those organizations who aim to become a CPE Provider and for those who want to renew their accreditation as a CPE Provider. Furthermore, the accreditation of CPE/D activities and programs also has its own procedure and scope as specifically stressed in the Handbook.

    As of February 25, 2010, there are already 44 accredited CPE providers for Nursing. Among the CPE Providers for Nursing, only two organizations in Davao City are accredited Brokenshire College – Nursing Department and San Pedro Hospital.
