BC FACULTY AND STAFF ORIENTATION, SUCCESSFUL!
Brokenshire College Faculty and Staff successfully participated the Orientation held last June 1, 2010, Tuesday at the Function Room B, Martha’s Place, Rosario Perpiñan Building.

    The staff orientation was held in the morning while the faculty orientation was done in the afternoon.
    
    During the opening of the orientation, Ms Telesfora R. Liangco, CPA, the Vice President for Finance and Administration, reminded everyone in her welcome address not to miss out on life’s main events.

    Rev. Leopoldo R. Naive, the College President, gave an update on the College present condition before thoroughly discussing the Life Purpose, Vision, Mission, Quality Policy and Core Values that the College upholds.

    The newly approved Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD) Manual was comprehensively tackled by Dr. Hazel T. Victoriano, Director, Human Resource Management and Development Office.

    Dr. Victoriano went through each and every article that comprises the manual and also the sections that are under each article. She made sure that each aspect of the manual has been fully understood by the personnel.

    Questions were raised during the open forum especially regarding policies on personnel benefits and discipline which were readily answered and clarified by Dr. Victoriano, Ms Liangco and Atty. Ethan Allen F. Cenabre, the College’ Legal Counsel.

    The orientation aimed to acquaint the faculty and staff of the policies of the College which are new or which were amended in order not to cause confusion and misunderstanding, and to also start the new school year at the right direction.

    It is hoped that the topics discussed will become a catalyst that will unite the management, faculty and staff to achieve the goals of Brokenshire College as one team.
