In response to the recent flashflood that affected residents of UCCP Mayluan in Malita, Davao Occidental, Brokenshire College Inc. Community Extension Services (BCI-CES) initiated a Medical Mission last March 8, 2025, as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility and community care.

The outreach activity was made possible through the collaboration of the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and Christian Womenโ€™s Association (CWA), working hand in hand to extend immediate healthcare assistance and compassionate support to the affected community.Volunteer medical and nursing students, together with faculty and licensed practitioners, provided free medical consultations, health assessments, and basic medications to residents. The initiative aimed to address the urgent medical needs of families impacted by the calamity and to promote health awareness within the community.

Beyond providing medical assistance, the mission also served as an opportunity for students and professionals to embody Brokenshire Collegeโ€™s core values of service, compassion, and faith in action. Through this effort, the College reaffirmed its dedication to being a channel of hope and healing, especially in times of crisis.

The success of the activity reflected the strength of collaboration between Brokenshire College, the Christian Womenโ€™s Association (CWA), and the local church community, as they worked together to bring comfort and care to those in need.

Indeed, this Medical Mission stands as another testament to Brokenshire Collegeโ€™s unwavering commitment to serve the community and uphold the value of holistic development through compassionate service.
