Brokenshire College is the leading Evangelical Christian institution here in the southern Philippines located in Davao City.
We aim to fulfil the evangelical Christian teaching ministry of the Church and we are the educational arm of United Church of Christ of the Philippines.
As an evangelical Christian institution, we are committed to provide value – oriented quality education through continuous improvement and total involvement of our students. This commitment is enabling us to bring into being students who can make a difference in the world as students and as individuals by the time they leave this institution as successful graduates.
We aim to develop the potentials of students not only mentally but also physically and spiritually through different programs. We hold activities of which all of our students may participate. We hold Convocations to enhance spiritual growth among students, and we sponsor medical missions and we organize symposia to discuss current issues confronting our country for students to develop a higher awareness and responsibility towards the needs of the community around them.
As of now we are offering variety of courses which you can choose from. We offer
Complete Basic Education (Preschool, Elementary and Science High School);
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (the first Nursing school in Davao City and Bachelor of Science in Nursing has been our flagship course since the College’ establishment in 1954);
Bachelor in Business Administration major in: 1.
Marketing Management and 2.
Microfinance Management;
Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship;
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science;
Bachelor of Science in Information Technology;
Bachelor of Science in Psychology;
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Restaurant Management;
Bachelor in Elementary Education;
Bachelor in Secondary Education;
Bachelor in Physical Education;
Bachelor of Arts in Theology;
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
We also have Weekend Classes (also known as the Upward Mobility Program) and Evening Classes which caters to working students since classes under this program are held every Saturdays and Sundays. Courses offered under this program are: Bachelor in Business Administration major in: 1. Marketing Management and 2. Microfinance Management; Bachelor of Science in Computer Science; Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Restaurant Management; Bachelor in Elementary Education; Bachelor in Physical Education. These programs were developed due to the growing population of working students who also aims to gain a degree to achieve a better future and we support their aspirations of achieving personal growth through education.
Furthermore, short courses like Food and Beverages Attendant (FBA) training, Commercial Cooking, Bartending, Housekeeping Services and, Baking and Party Production are also open for enrolment. These courses are accredited by TESDA with National Competency (NCII) level certification.
