The Brokenshire College on the threshold of expansion and advancement shows a lead in making the life of Christian faith learning creatively aware and responsive to the call of students' advancement - intellectually, morally and technologically.
BC now is not just improving its infrastructural design, but is working intelligently to move ahead for the innovation and upgrade of the College system on information and technology to enhance skills and expertise not just of students, but as well of its faculty and staff. BC CELEBRATES 54TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARYThe Brokenshire College 54th Foundation Week Celebration will have its formal opening on 8 July 2008, Tuesday, 7:30 AM at Emma Noreen Grounds.
The ceremonies will commence with a prayer by School Chaplain Rev. Sarly Rhaman Templado which will be followed by the singing of National Anthem.
After which, the Brokenshire College Community will hand –in-hand sing the College’s Alma Mater song.
The College President Rev. Leopoldo Naïve will then deliver his Foundation Anniversary message and declaration of the official Opening of the Foundation Week. After which, the tarpaulins will be unveiled by Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Remedios Cañones and Vice President for Financial Administration Dr. Josabeth Dumanig.
The program will then segue to a short Brokenshire College Trivia (Question and Answer portion) which will be participated by the students, faculty and staff.
As a finale to the ceremonies, a festival of balloons will be released by the Congregation while singing the Brokenshire College Credo.
This year’s Foundation Week celebration theme is “Living Together in the Household of God: Channels of Grace, God’s Gift of Generosity”.
The Foundation Week celebration activities will be aired from July 3-15, 2008 at top local radio stations and GMA TV 5’s Una Ka Bai. Quality project for nursing between BC, SVBrokenshire College is now working for a quality project for faculty, staff, nursing students and graduates with Swedish International Institute (SVI). The proposal was worked out last May 9, 2008 during the academic-service visit of SVI International Coordinator Alf-Martin Haagensen and Head of Studies (in Social Services, Health and Sports, Culture, Tourism, Catering and Home Economics) Asa Stenbacka.

HRM conducts BC orientationThe Human Resource Management (HRM) of Brokenshire College conducted the orientation for Clinical Instructors, Basic Education, BASE-HIST, and Non-Teaching Personnel. last June 4-5, 2008 at Bishop Proculo Rodriguez Chapel and Audio Visual Room 1. “Orientation is conducted every start of the school year to all employees with the goal that they will fully understand the quality policies, core values, vision, mission, goal guidelines, procedures and culture of the institution” HRM Director Hazel T. Victoriano said.
