Brokenshire College, through the Office of the Public Relations & International Linkages, joined the inaugural series of Internationalization: Building Regional International Development and Global Engagement (iBRIDGE) held at the Grand Men Seng Hotel. The event brought together higher education institutions from the region to discuss strategies for fostering internationalization and cultivating global citizens.
CHED Regional Director Dr. Maricar R. Casquejo and CHED Commissioner Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela delivered opening messages, emphasizing the importance of internationalization in higher education.
Key presentations focused on institutionalizing policy frameworks for internationalization, establishing transnational higher education partnerships, and implementing mobility programs. Dr. Evelyn S. Ecle of CHEDRO XI Internationalization Focal discussed the importance of institutionalizing internationalization policies, while Atty. Ednalyn Grace A. Viste of CHED International Affairs Service highlighted the potential for regional HEIs to establish transnational higher education collaborations. Mr. Rene M. Babiera II of the University of Immaculate Concepcion shared practical insights on mobility programs and partnerships.
