Admission Requirements

Applicants for the Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Educational Leadership must submit the following requirements:

1. The applicant must have completed a relevant master’s degree related to Education field with thesis. Applicants with a non-thesis master’s degree are not eligible for admission.

2. Original copy of Transcript of Records showing completion of a relevant master’s degree related to Education from a CHED-recognized institution and program.

3. At least one recommendation letter from any of the following:

   • 3.4 College or university professor

   • 3.5 Current employer

   • 3.6 Former employer

4. Applicants whose master’s degree is not related to Education should have either of the following:

   • 4.1 At least 12 Education units; or

   • 4.2 At least three (3) years of experience as a Dean, Program Head, Principal, Academic Coordinator, Director for Research, Head Librarian, or in any other relevant academic-related administrative position, with at least three (3) years of teaching experience.

5. An interview with the Dean.
