Brokenshire College through the Office of the Institutional Linkages is thrilled to announce the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement with AFS Philippines on May 27, 2024.
AFS is a global volunteer-based non-profit that offers intercultural learning opportunities to help individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed for a more equitable and peaceful society.
In the Philippines, over the years and starting in 1956, AFS has been sending Filipino students, teachers, professionals, and volunteers in this once-in-a-lifetime experience abroad program. To date, there are more than 2,500 Filipino AFS program alumni and nearly 1,000 hosted participants in the country.
Our partnership with AFS also includes hosting international students at Brokenshire College, enriching our campus with diverse perspectives and fostering a vibrant, multicultural community.
Together, as Brokenshirians, we're shaping a brighter future for global education.
