Brokenshire College, Inc. proudly marks a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of the BC CeLL (Center for Lifelong Learning) on May 29, 2026, held at Marthaโ€™s Place within the college campus.

The inauguration ceremony formally introduced BC CeLL as a dynamic hub dedicated to promoting lifelong learning, professional development, and continuous innovation. Designed to empower individuals through accessible and relevant educational opportunities, the Center reflects the institutionโ€™s commitment to academic excellence and societal transformation.

The program commenced with opening preliminaries, including the singing of the Philippine National Anthem and the Davao City Hymn, followed by welcome remarks from Brokenshire College President, Bp. Hamuel G. Tequis, PhD (hc). The rationale and introduction to the keynote speaker were delivered by Dr. Felix C. Chavez, Vice-President for Academic Affairs.

A highlight of the ceremony was the official unveiling of the BC CeLL logo, led by the institutionโ€™s key officials, symbolizing the beginning of a new chapter in the collegeโ€™s pursuit of lifelong education.

The keynote message was delivered by Dr. Greg Pawilen, Associate Professor at the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos and Director of the Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education. His address emphasized the importance of continuous learning in todayโ€™s rapidly evolving academic and professional landscapes.

Further strengthening the significance of the event, a message from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region XI was delivered by Engr. Rodrigo Pangantihon, Education Supervisor for Information Technology. His message underscored the vital role of institutions like Brokenshire College in advancing inclusive and transformative education in the region.

The ceremony concluded with the Brokenshire Hymn and a closing prayer, leaving attendees inspired by the vision and purpose of BC CeLL.

As BC CeLL officially opens its doors, Brokenshire College reaffirms its mission to develop learners who are equipped with knowledge, guided by values, and committed to service, ultimately contributing to the transformation of society.
