Brokenshire College Gears Up for Student Research Congress 2025 and Student Researchers Champion Innovation and Sustainability

Brokenshire College proudly presents the Student Research Congress 2025 with the theme “Sustainable Science, Real Solutions,” happening on June 14, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at Martha’s Place. The event highlights the creativity and innovation of undergraduate and graduate researchers as they present their studies that aim to address real-world challenges through sustainable and scientific approaches.

The congress will feature Dr. Felix C. Chavez, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Services of Brokenshire College, as the Keynote Speaker. Dr. Chavez is set to deliver an inspiring message that will encourage student scholars to pursue research and innovation that create meaningful impact in society.

Adding depth to the academic discourse, a panel of distinguished reactors from various institutions will share their expertise and provide insightful feedback on the students’ research presentations. Among the panelists are Dr. Gretchen B. Chavez, Dean of the Graduate School at Brokenshire College; Dr. Jaymie Rellon, Faculty at Central Mindanao Colleges; Prof. Francisco J. Sedillo Jr., Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator at San Pedro College; Eileene Lois C. Rojo, Nurse at Brokenshire Medical Center; Dr. Jeahr E. Inabangan, Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences, Business Management, and Education at Brokenshire College; and Mr. Paul Rean Fred D. Quibo-Quibo, Coordinator for Research & Creative Work at Brokenshire College.

The event serves as a platform to celebrate research excellence, academic collaboration, and the bright minds shaping a more sustainable future.

The Student Research Congress 2025 at Brokenshire College shines a spotlight on the creativity and dedication of undergraduate and graduate researchers. With the theme “Sustainable Science, Real Solutions,” the event serves as a platform for young scholars to present their innovative projects and research studies that address pressing global and local issues.
