Brokenshire College, in partnership with its Gender and Development Office, participated in the Annual International Conference organized by the Womenโ€™s and Gender Studies Association of the Philippines (WSAP). The event was held at Bukidnon State University, Malaybalay City, from November 22 to 24, 2023, with the theme โ€œFeminist Strategies for Gender Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Global Future: Challenges, Responses, Possibilities.โ€

Representing Brokenshire College was Mr. Paul Rean Fred D. Quibo-Quibo, LPT, MAEd, the Scholarship, Admission, and Promotions Officer and a member of the Research Council. Mr. Quibo-Quibo served as the Collegeโ€™s delegate and research presenter, showcasing his graduate research titled โ€œGender Inclusive Language, Gender Mainstreaming Strategies, and School Culture among Students of Higher Education Institutions.โ€ His paper was featured under Parallel Session 8B: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Policies and Practices in Higher Education.

Through this participation, Brokenshire College reaffirmed its commitment to promoting gender equity, inclusivity, and social awareness in higher education. The College continues to encourage research initiatives that champion equality and contribute to building a more inclusive academic and social environment.
