Brokenshire College (BC), together with Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc. (JMCFI) and Kalinga University (KU) of India, formally entered into a Tripartite International Research and Academic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) through a virtual signing ceremony held on February 10, 2025.
This landmark partnership marked a significant step toward fostering cutting-edge research, academic exchange, and faculty development across international institutions. The collaboration established a shared vision of building a global learning ecosystem that empowers students, faculty, and researchers to engage in innovative, impactful, and inclusive education.
Representing Brokenshire College were Bishop Hamuel G. Tequis, MDiv, College President; Dr. Felix C. Chavez Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs and Student Services; and Mr. Paul Rean Fred D. Quibo-Quibo, MAEd, Coordinator for International Linkages.
From Jose Maria College Foundation, Inc., participants included Dr. Jose Ma S. E. Gonzales, School President; Dr. Josefina D. Ortega, Vice President for Institutional Affairs; and Dr. John Vianne B. Murcia, Director for Research and Publication.
Representing Kalinga University were Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar; Dr. Saket Jeswani, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management; and Dr. Deepti Patnaik, Assistant Professor in the same faculty.
The signing of this tripartite MoU signified a shared commitment among the three institutions to advance academic excellence, knowledge exchange, and cross-border collaboration. It also opened opportunities for joint research projects, international conferences, and faculty and student development initiatives aimed at enriching educational practices and global perspectives.
