The Brokenshire College, Inc. community actively participated in the CY 2025 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held on November 6, 2025 (Thursday) at exactly 9:00 AM. The activity was conducted in response to the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office XI Memorandum No. 138, s. 2025 and in coordination with the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) XI Memorandum No. 087, s. 2025.
This nationwide drill aims to strengthen disaster preparedness and ensure the safety of every Filipino during potential seismic events. Through this initiative, Brokenshire College continues to uphold its commitment to cultivating a culture of readiness, discipline, and cooperation among its students, faculty, and staff.
The earthquake drill began with the โDrop, Cover, and Holdโ procedure, followed by an organized evacuation to designated safe areas across the campus. Participants were guided by the Collegeโs emergency response team, ensuring that all safety measures and protocols were properly observed. The activity served as both a learning experience and a practical application of the institutionโs disaster response procedures.
Brokenshire College extends its gratitude to the CHED Regional Office XI, RDRRMC XI, and all members of the Brokenshire community for their full cooperation and commitment to ensuring a safe and successful conduct of this mandatory activity.
