On September 24, 2025, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) third-year students, together with their faculty mentors, actively participated in the 2nd Session of the Community Extension Service (CES) held at Duha Barangay 10-A Hall. The activity was themed:
The session aimed to empower local mothers by providing them with practical livelihood skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. The BSHM students led a hands-on demonstration on how to prepare banana lemon tarts, while the BSBA students facilitated workshops on product packaging, logo design, and branding strategies. Through this collaboration, participants gained valuable insights into both the creative and business aspects of small-scale entrepreneurship.
This meaningful CES initiative highlighted the synergy between academic learning and community engagement. By combining the expertise of the BSBA and BSHM programs, the activity reflected Brokenshire Collegeโs commitment to fostering empowerment, innovation, and sustainable livelihood among community members. Truly, education finds its greatest purpose when it uplifts and transforms lives.
